I am a former member (secretary) of ConCom. I was over a period of 14 years (2010 – 2024) closely involved in reforms of the FIDE statutes / constitution and other rules & regulations. I was chairman of the FIDE Ethics & Disciplinary Commission for 10 years and I am well-acquainted with FIDE’s rules and modus operandi.
I’m well known to the Chairman of the Concom, Judge Rivello, and member Mr Wilkinson SC, and I have had excellent working relations with them in the past. I believe I would fit in well within the culture of ConCom. I’m known to most members of the FIDE Council & Management Board as a diligent worker.
I would appreciate another opportunity to serve FIDE and make my skill set and knowledge available for service of the game of chess. For my experience in the worlds of chess and boxing governance, see attached short Curriculum Vitae.
