At 18 years of age, in 1995, I achieved the title of International Grandmaster. I have represented Ecuador in several Chess Olympiads, where I have won medals on two occasions (at the 1996 World Chess Olympiad in Armenia and the 2008 World Chess Olympiad in Dresden, Germany).
In the same year, 2008, I won the gold medal at the World Mind Games held in Beijing, China. Vice President of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) from 2014 to 2018.
Through the FIDE Women in Chess Commission and as FIDE Vice-president, I presented and delivered plans and to strengthen women, arbiters, trainers, events development throughout the world.
In Ecuador I have conducted many social projects around the country, including children in very vulnerable environment, chess for victim of aggression, chess for seniors and more, as well as organizing the top tournaments in the history of Ecuador.
Therefore, I meet the established requirements for the position of FIDE VICE-PRESIDENT
With the brief description above, I demonstrate my experience, skills, and qualities that I would contribute to leading a process of popularizing chess throughout the world, with a special emphasis on children, women and social projects in order to awaken their interest in practicing an activity that positively contributes to their mental development, steering them away from activities that do not contribute to their personal growth.
