I’ve spent my whole life in chess, first as the professional chess player, reaching the FIDE World Champion title in 2004 and winning the gold of the Asian Games in 2010, later as the chess coach, working with some of the best players in the world. Furthermore, I did a lot of work to promote and develop chess in Uzbekistan. I feel that this level of experience gives me the chance, in case I’m elected, to be helpful to both FIDE, as well as the chess players and coaches worldwide.
